Can’t find a close, inexpensive restaurant to dine at? Love Mexican food? Well, we have found the perfect place for you. Located just over the Viaduct Bridge on Northern Boulevard, Besito is a hip and fresh restaurant in Roslyn.

Besito has everything from gourmet drinks to impressive, sizzling enchiladas. We recommend starting off with an appetizer, such as the medium spiced guacamole. Not only do the waiters and waitresses make it at your table for you–so you know that the ingredients are 100% fresh and natural–but many foodies claim it is “one of the best tasting dips on Long Island.”

Next, for the entrees, we recommend “Mixtas”. This dish includes Skirt steak, grilled chicken, chorizo, guajillo cream, salsa, and fresh queso, all for just $19.95!

After your entree, if you have any more room for food, we recommend the churros. These churros usually come in threes in little paper bags, and are the most delicious cinnamon and sugar desserts we have ever tried! Highly recommended!

Finally, we found the ambiance to be very romantic; not too romantic that it’d be awkward for a first date sort of thing, but enough for a warm and cozy feeling. The ceilings include a warm dark wood and the walls depict murals of beautiful horses, and the wall separating the kitchen area from the seating area has slits for candles built into the walls.

All in all we found Besito to be a lovely place filled with delicious food in addition to having a warm ambiance. It’s a perfect place for a romantic date night or just a dinner with friends!
