Warriors’ NBA Star Rookie May Be Out for Entire Season

James Wiseman, the second overall pick of the 2020 NBA Draft,  is expected to be out for the rest of the season due to a meniscus injury in his right knee. This injury sustained in the Warriors’ win over the Rockets, may prevent the star rookie from helping his team fight its way to the playoffs. Unfortunately, it will probably also ruin his chances of winning Rookie of the Year which is truly heartbreaking since many of his fans felt that he had a chance at winning the award this year- especially because Lamelo Ball, another outstanding rookie who plays for the Charlotte Hornets,  is also out for this season.

As a great rebounder and offensive threat in the paint, Weisman’s injury leaves Stephen Curry  with less help in all aspects of the game. Hopefully Wiseman will come back stronger and better than ever next season!
