Marvel’s Daredevil: Series 2 in Review
With Marvel getting geared up to release their new show: The Defenders, I thought it was appropriate to re-binge and review Marvel’s Daredevil. For some of you who might not know, The Defenders is a new Netflix Marvel tv show that follows the team up of Jessica Jones, Matt Murdock/Daredevil, Luke Cage, and Danny Rand/Iron Fist to protect earth.
Daredevil Series 2 received a 76% on Rotten Tomatoes and fairly positive reviews from its fans.
The story picks up from after the defeat of Fisk and his empire from the conclusion of season 1. Matt Murdock/Daredevil continues to patrol the streets at night as the vigilante hero quickly discovers there are more problems lurking in the streets of Hells Kitchen. The season quickly unfolds several complex plot lines with the introduction of Elektra (an old friend from Murdock’s past), the Punisher/Frank Castle, and exciting new romantic relationships. Of course, these faces are merely the tipping point to the twisted and exciting drama that quickly unfolds in this new season.
If you are interested in superheroes and exciting complex plot lines, I strongly recommend checking out Marvel’s Daredevil and the future The Defenders series.
