Glitter and Glue is a memoir written by Kelly Corrigan where she talks about a summer she spent babysitting two young children, Milly and Martin, in Australia. These two young children recently lost their mother to cancer, so Kelly is the only woman in their lives. She certainly proved herself to be an amazing mother figure to them and they were lucky to have her for an entire summer. Throughout the memoir, Kelly talks about all the good and bad things that happened while she was there and gives quite a few flashbacks to her childhood and teen years. She is definitely not afraid to say what she wants and will explain the truth about anything. This book is definitely worth giving a read because Corrigan tells such an amazing story that is worth reading. After reading one of her memoirs, you’ll just want to read all of her other ones.
