In November 2022, Taylor Swift announced her Eras Tour. The Eras Tour took the country by storm and excited all of the swifties. Tickets for the Eras Tour were extremely hard to get, and if they were not purchased on the presale, individuals had to pay thousands of dollars for just one ticket. Every concert was sold out, and all the stadiums were filled with excited swifties dressed up as Taylor Swift from her different albums.
Soon after the Eras Tour began, Taylor Swift announced that the Eras Tour would be made into a movie. By creating a movie, Taylor Swift made the concert accessible to people who were not able to get tickets. All Swifties would now be able to experience Swift’s amazing talent, and the story she creates using her nine albums.
The movie, directed by Sam Wrench, was recently released on October 13, 2023. It captures Taylor Swift’s live show at SoFi Stadium outside Los Angeles. It lasts for about 165 minutes – every single minute is entertaining.
Even before being released, the movie broke a number of pre-sale records. In just three weeks, the Eras Tour box office has achieved a massive box office record, grossing over 200 million dollars worldwide. The Eras Tour Movie joined a select group of 20 movies that also achieved this amazing box office accomplishment this year.
In addition to the movie, Taylor Swift released her rerecording of 1989 (1989 Taylor’s Version) on October 27, 2023. Taylor Swift has been rerecording all of her albums due to her feud over the master rights. All albums called Taylor’s Version are owned by Taylor Swift.
