Kicks of the Month – November Edition

Welcome sneakerheads, Air Jordan enthusiasts, and fellow shoe owners! For the past few years, I have been an avid shoe collector and wish to share my knowledge and preferences with you in this monthly column!

Start this month off right with the Nike Foamposite One “Chromeposite”. This shoe just screams “clean” upon looking at it; everything about it looks clean, neat, and flashy. From the completely reflective upper to the icy soles, this casual sneaker is guaranteed to get you some compliments. I own two pairs of foamposites and from my experience I can confidently say that they are one of my most comfortable type of shoes. The double-stuffed airbags attached to the insoles are what make them so comfortable, because you bounce with almost every step. This is not necessarily a bad thing. Also, with the cold temperature coming around, these are a good pick up because of how warm they keep your feet. I strongly recommend wearing these casually. Playing basketball in them, on the other hand, is not so much a good idea. They are a heavier shoe and can be damaged easier as well. Also, they don’t have as good of a grip as other shoes made specifically for playing. The price range for these can be anywhere from $250 and on depending on the seller.

Next up on my list is the classic Air Jordan 4 ” Coloumbia” or “Legend Blue’s”. This shoe offers a classic and clean-looking white upper with a darker blue as a secondary. Overall, the colors work perfectly together to create a great, visually appealing shoe all around. These shoes are great for casual use but can get dirty easily because of the large amount of white on them. Also, although these were meant for use on the court, I would not recommend using them for a game because of their $200+ price range.

The last pair on the list for this month is one that I am sure many would agree is worthy to be on this list. The “Olympic” Jordan 6’s are among the elite in the sneaker world, but with that, of course, comes the “elite” price that must be paid for them. Going for $275+, these guys will show you what it’s like to own a “premium shoe.” Essentially, it’s advisable to use these shoes as one would with the “Colombia” 4’s above and avoid playing basketball in them due to their high value.

That’s all for this month, be sure to check back in December for more must-gets.
