Impractical Jokers is a comical TV show where four lifelong friends, Joe, Sal, Q, and Murr, compete to embarrass each other in public with hilarious and outrageous dares. Joe left the show in late 2021 to focus on family.
On the show, the friends undertake embarrassing prank challenges and secretly record them–they have mics so the other friends can tell them what to say. If they do not say what they are told, they lose the challenge. At the end of the episode whoever loses the most challenges loses the game and gets a separate embarrassing punishment made up by the other friends. The punishment is always super humiliating and usually in public about something they are scared or insecure about. The goal of this show is for them to have fun embarrassing each other and to make the people watching laugh. They all started as friends when they went to high school together in 1990 as stated in the Entertainment Weekly article.
Murr lost and had to go skydiving for his punishment
All the episodes are filmed mainly in New York and New Jersey. Impractical Jokers is an extremely famous show, and it is ranked 429 all time most famous TV shows, ranking just behind Fear The Walking Dead. Impractical Jokers has made 10 seasons with 166 episodes total over all the years. The first episode aired in December of 2011, and the show is still going on today with more seasons and episodes coming out every so often. The show now has a much higher budget so they can produce much better episodes due to their ability to be able to use more money. They have a much higher budget for episodes now because they make more money due to having so many more viewers. They have so many viewers and have grown their show a lot by doing what the people liked and making it very entertaining and funny.
The show is still very popular, although before Joe’s departure it used to be more so. The show can be watched on many different streaming platforms. It can be watched on Apple TV, Sling TV, Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, and through cablevision on the network truTV as said on TV Guide. It used to be super popular because many people would enjoy watching it on cable, but now a lot of people don’t have cable so they don’t see it and think to watch it resulting in a slight decline in viewers. Even though a lot of cable viewers are gone, a ton of people still watch and enjoy the show.
Impractical Jokers is enjoyed by many, who find it hilarious and super entertaining. I watch the show all the time and I can confirm it is so funny and could never leave you bored. There is always something funny and would always keep you on the edge of your seat and laughing. Overall this is one of my favorite shows and many other peoples favorite shows as well.
